Waiting for dawn

Travelling in China, one is struck by 2 things,

first, there're slogans everywhere ;

second , there're masses of people sitting around wherever you look, seemingly with nothing to do.

The Zhuang Tribe is one of the biggest minority tribe residing in sourthern China , which I visited in the early 90's when China's just opening up.

At that time it felt like for people in China the night is almost over, and they're poised for the new challenges in the coming dawn.
